We understand that unexpected things come up at the last moment but as a small business, we have to be firm about our refund policy for our painting classes. At Sociable Art, full refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the date of the event, after that a credit towards a future class will be offered if you are unable to attend as long as the request is made more than 48 hours before the start of the event. We have a good reason for this. A lot of preparation goes into Sociable Art events behind the scenes prior to the actual date of the event including pre-sketching of your canvas in many cases and ordering of specific supplies. It is important for us to know exactly how many guests are attending. Our venues also base staffing on our guest totals, so we need to be accurate in advance. Also, if the class is sold out and you cancel at the last minute, we won't have the opportunity to refill your seat. This is a small, independently owned business and each registration counts. I hope you understand the reasoning behind our policy. Also, If we have fewer registrations than our required minimum for a venue, we reserve the right to cancel with 48 hours notice and issue full refunds to those already registered. Should an event need to be cancelled due to weather conditions or other events outside of our control which pose safety/travel concerns, Sociable Art will offer a rescheduled date of the cancelled event. Registrations for events cancelled due to circumstances outside of our control will not be refunded, but can be transferred to the rescheduled date. Due to Covid-19 guidelines (as of 9/9/20) class size will be limited to allow for adequate distance between guests. If you have experienced COVID-19 symptoms or a fever in the past 24 hours, PLEASE do not attend class for the safety of our staff and patrons. All surfaces, brushes, and cups are sanitized before and after class. Please bring your own mask if you would like.
